At Wesellanyboat we believe the way people want to buy and sell has changed and the days of going to a site at a large marina to buy a boat is changing. The brokers having to support their businesses through large brokerage fees and storage of your boat. In reality, boats do not always sell quickly and storage fees are racking up whilst you are not using this asset. Therefore, we will sell your boat as quickly as possible whilst attaining the best value for it. It should not a surprise to anyone that the boat can have issues, as a qualified yacht surveyor, I am equipped to deal with any issues that come up in order to facilitate the deal to be done.

Sales process

  1. Offer made and accepted
  2. 10% deposit paid – purchase agreement signed
  3. Survey / Sea trail / Engineers inspection
  4. Completion 

There are two options for the type of service you require frim us, remote and full brokerage.  This offers you a bespoke service to suit your needs.

Remote Brokerage

  • Owner conducts the viewings
  • Owner or broker handles price negotiation
  • Broker handles the paperwork and transaction
  • £600 fixed fee for all boats
  • Pictures taken by broker if on South Coast
  • Pre-sale inspection if on South Coast
  • Advice on preparing the boat for sale
  • Keep using the boat whilst its being sold
  • Keep the boat where you want

Full Brokerage (South Coast)

  • Broker conducts the viewings
  • Owner or broker handles price negotiation
  • Broker handles the paperwork and transaction
  • Low cost fixed fee selling dependent on value
  • Pictures taken by broker
  • Pre-sale inspection if on South Coast
